Some Sad News

Hello readers, I'm sure some have you are wondering why there haven't been any new posts or recent updates. I'm Lisa's daughter, Jennifer(16), Monday, July 14th around 930pm, my mom had trouble breathing, we had to call 911, where she was then taken to the hospital. She later died from heart failure caused by a heart attack. She was 40. She enjoyed blogging and enjoyed the people who read her blog and she thanks anyone who read it while she went along. She loved seeing feedback on her blogs and hearing about other people's battles and their victories with MS. She will be missed by all, as a daughter, mother, girlfriend, and friend. Don't think that you can't win your battles against MS, you will have many victories, and sad things such as this happen sometimes, but she loved the life she lived and if she could come back and say that she did she would in an instant.

GOOD DAY, MY FRIENDS!!

Sorry for the slow start today....it is the weekend. We all slept in this morning....lol
And, my morning wasn't off to a great start, either. My whole left side seems to have gone AWOL again! Now, that could have something to do with the crappy sleep I had last night...as well as, the overheating!! That's all I kept doing, sweating! My hair was soaked! And even now, I am still over heating..sitting in front of an a/c vent, that is on!

So, this is just going to be a write off day, RELAX, RECHARGE, DO NOTHING! This way, I do not set my self up for FAILURES!

I will post back later, but for now, typing is even difficult....lol

GOOD AFTERNOON!!

Yes, it is afternoon...lol...I know I am late!! I do apologize.

We had an early morning..Our la-z-boy chairs came early, my kids left early - 1 to go to a friends for the day, the other to her dad's(he's another story that we do NOT want to talk about!!) so, it was a busy, and tiring morning.

But, we now have some peace & quiet....lol...and extreme comfort when watching T.V.

Jay, Mom, & Me, we all sat and watched a movie, and was it ever NICE!!

My back has been killing me, so walking has been even more difficult, lately. I usually keep the heating pad on it, so as to keep it from stiffening up. Sitting in my new chair, I am able to do just that. I even had 40 winks, during a boring part of the movie....lol...but then I woke up to finish watching.

I believe that we will be watching a movie again tonight, which will be cool.

I have a little story for you today. Jay told it to us, yesterday...lol

JAY WAS OUT SHOPPING YESTERDAY, AND HE KIND OF GENTLY BUMPED THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF HIM. NOTHING HARD, JUST A "KISS", SO TO SPEAK. WELL, THEY BOTH STOPPED, AND GOT OUT OF THEIR VEHICLES. JAY WALKING TO THE FRONT OF HIS, AND A LITTLE SHORT GUY APPROACHING FROM THE OTHER. AS THE OTHER GUY APPROACHED, HE SAID TO JAY, "I'M NOT HAPPY!" JAY SAID TO HIM "THEN WHICH DWARF ARE YOU?"

Thought everyone could use a "little" smile today....lol

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TO MY HONEY!!!

Yes, today is MY LOVE'S BIRTHDAY!!


I had thought about going out to dinner, than maybe dancing, and a nice romantic stroll in the moonlight, for his SPECIAL evening...lol...but then I thought about it, and all the hookers in this city are tooo skanky....lol...HAHA!!!

No, we are going to have a nice special day, right at home...Jay is going to go get dinner for tonight, something he likes, and it is just going to be a quiet day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BABY!!! I LOVE YOU!!

As for the doctor's, I rescheduled that for Tuesday morning, as I would have been soaked before I even got off the porch!

With today's weather, there really is no other choice but to stay in....I HATE RAIN!!

UPDATE: Well, today was a very quiet day...relaxing.

Jay had a very different B-Day then he has ever had before...lol...the tables got turned on him!!

Jay usually, at Christmas and Easter, makes my 2 girls go on scavenger hunts to find their big presents...he leaves them riddles in different places, both in & out of the house!

GUESS WHAT?? My girls did it to him today!! AND, they even put Happy Birthday Crepe Paper on our Motorcycle in front of the house!
Jay's face when he came home & saw our bike, was PERFECT!!

So, all in all, I do believe it was a GREAT DAY for everyone.

Also, the lady from CCAC came by today, to do the assessment, and she informed me that a physio therapist would be contacting me in the next 1-2 weeks!! I am VERY HAPPY about that...lol

UPDATE FOR TODAY!

WHAT AN AWESOME DAY!!

I had a GREAT day...AGAIN!!

Let's hope, pray, believe, we are MOVING FORWARD!! I feel VERY POSITIVE, I am about a third of the way up my hill....lol...just 2 thirds to go!! With BABY STEPS, I WILL MAKE IT!!

THE BEST IS YET TO COME!! WHEN I WALK WITHOUT ASSISTANCE!!

So, tomorrow morning, I am off to the doctor's office...lol I am hoping that he will be as HAPPY as I am!!
I was also on the phone with the M.S. Society today, and they told me to get my doctor to refer me to the M.S. Clinic in Hamilton, at McMaster, as I have never dealt with them before. I am going to talk to him about it in the morning, see what he has to say.

Now, what I really would like, is for everyone who is facing their own CHALLENGES, and DEMONS, to STAY POSITIVE, and KEEP MOVING FORWARD!!

You CAN and WILL go on with your life!! YOU WILL SUCCEED!! OVERCOME your CHALLENGE, YOU CAN DO IT!!
Take baby steps, as every day will get better.

VICTORIES!! are yours to be had!! AND you WILL HAVE THEM!!

LOOKS LIKE A BEAUTIFUL DAY, OUT THERE!

THE SUN IS SHINING, IT LOOKS WONDERFUL!! So far, the day has proven to be another GOOD ONE!!

I have re-booked my doctor's appointment till tomorrow, only because, by 3 in the afternoon I do start slowing down....lol So, it is at 10 tomorrow morning, instead!

I have also been in touch with CCAC- Community Care Access- which is an association that provides people with disabilities health care assistance...things like daily personal care, physio therapy...which is what I am really wanting, right now! I should hear from them soon, as they did call today and get all my info...lol

Who knows, by the time they call to set up the physio, I may be walking on my own!! Wouldn`t that be AWESOME!?

Anyways, I want everyone to STAY POSITIVE, KEEP MOVING FORWARD!

NIGHT TIME UPDATE!!

UPDATE:

HI everyone!! I do hope that you all have had an AWESOME day!!

Mine was GREAT!!

I had nothing but VICTORIES today!!

I have actually had 2 good days, in a row!! Now, let's go for that 3rd day!!

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so, having a good day tomorrow, that will be a GREAT THING!!

BEEN HAVING A BUSY DAY!

Sorry for such a late update....lol

My morning has been GREAT!, if not a little tedious, as well....lol

You see, no one understands, and I MEAN NO ONE!!. When you have a good day, everyone just figures, you are suddenly better! And you are going to be that way again tomorrow, and the next day, and so on. You know what? It does not always work like that!! And then, everyone gets all stressed out, because they figure you are suddenly back sliding...lol

NOT THE CASE!!

EVERYONE NEEDS TO GET ON THE SAME PAGE...ONE DAY AT A TIME, BABY STEPS!

I HOPE, BEYOND HOPE that tomorrow is as good as TODAY! But, I have NO control over that! The M.S. decides, NOT ME!

So, let's just hope tomorrow is as good....lol..I have every intention of it being just as good, if not BETTER!!

So far, today, I was able to get out of bed with little assistance, showered with just assistance getting in & out of the shower, have sat and listened to constant yakking....lol...excuse me, there is nothing wrong with a few minutes of silence, once in a while....lol...worst part, I cannot just get up & walk into another part of the house!!...lol

And, when it comes to me actually sitting down and writing my blog, working, or anything else I do on the computer?? HA!! I have a good day, just want to catch up on work, but NOOOO... not allowed...lol

And the reason for this? Everyone is so stressed out, no one can actually handle relaxing, not worrying, or finding something to worry about.

When you have a good day, go with it. BUT, be prepared, just in case tomorrow is not the same. And if it is not, DO NOT stress about it, just relax, recharge, and be ready for the next good day!! IT WILL HAPPEN!!

HAD FEET DONE!!! JUST WAITING FOR GRAB BAR GUY...LOL

Well, the lady who came to do my feet, was AWESOME!! They feel soooo good! She even did some reflexology on them...that was so cool. She was even able to tell me that my right hip was all bruised from my latest fall....lol...I knew that from the pain....lol but, she was good. Needless to say, I will be having her come back again.

Now, we are finding that the wedding cake stairs that we bought for our pool, are inhibiting the water flow in our pool. That is gonna suck, if it ends up we have to get rid of them. Our pool water just looks awful! We are hoping that we can find someone who can maybe set them up differently for us....lol
